Ho, Listers!
If you've found this, you've stumbled on our memoirs from the very first list party. A few of us who had been spending excessive amounts of time with each other on ICQ (when we should have been doing something productive??) decided to get together, just for grins. AP and spouse invited five close on-line friends to Texas to crash at their still-fairly-new house, and spend a long weekend. After a couple of days at AP's, the group went on to Scott's sister, Penny's house for a crawfish boil and a last night together. Things worked out so well after this first, quasi-private gathering that we got together for a more highly-publicized one in September, 1998, and then again in July, 1999. Here's to many happy returns of many more Gatherings!
